Caffeine acts as a stimulator for your brain. When you are used to drinking a cup of coffee or tea in the morning, your brain gets used to that extra jump start and begins functioning normally with it. When you don't have it, your brain has a hard time getting into gear.

somepeople are just used to it and need like caffeine in the morning to get started up and it gets likea habit and then you need to drink it everyday when you get up. well it noting bad though.

It's basically your body reacting to caffeine withdrawal.

Simple-caffeine withdrawal.
Happens all the time.
Don't miss the morning coffee!
Problem solved.

caffeine withdrawl

you are addicted to caffeine

Agree with all of the above answers. I used to have the same problem. What I did, once I realized I was "addicted" to the caffeine, I began mixing decaf in with my regular coffee a little at a time. It worked for me. After several weeks of increasing the amount of decaf I put into the regular coffee, I went to total decaf without getting the withdrawal symptoms. Some people say decaf doesn't taste the same, but I absolutely can't tell the difference. I used Folger's Classic Roast in both regular and decaf. I just don't like the idea of being "addicted" to anything. It's like dragging around a ball and chain and can control how you feel, where you go, how long you stay, etc. Anyway, hope you can use this info.

the caffeine in it helps prevent headaches

Because you have become addicted to caffeine. You can reduce the amount you drink everyday to help your body adjust from the withdrawal symptoms.
