yes, instant tea is caffeinated. Instant tea is just tea without the water added. It contains all the other substances that tea has.

The decaf versions still contain caffeine, but reduced amounts.

Most tea contains naturally occuring caffeine. If it doesn't say on the container that it is decaffeinated, it contains caffeine.
