Is diet soda truly that bad for you?!

Question: Hi. I'm 13 years old and drink diet soda. Ive heard tons of studies where it says diet soda is bad for you in numerous ways. I drink it and I'm completely fine and my doctor says I'm very healthy. A lot of people say it causes brain cell loss but I get high honors (Straight A's). So what's the deal?

if it has splenda, stay away from it

it contains carcinogenic metal compounds methanol and others like arsenic
its 98% sucralose and this substance causes organ, genetic, and immune system damage.

it was rejected by the FDA eight times and ended up buying them off and changing the requirements to go into stores

basically, its a white, grainy pile of crap.

DONT EAT IT!!!!

im 13 too and also a straight a student but its important to know what you eat even at sucha young age cuz you have one body and i want to treat mine as kindly as i can. basically all soda(diet or regular) burns your insides.

okay...

They contain aspartame but so does sugar-free anything like gum..

Edit: Have you ever left a penny in soda overnight? Imagine what it does to your insides if it does that to a penny

diet soda is bad for you
splenda is one of the worst things you can put into your body

any sodas are bad for you

Aspertame is in diet sodas. I guess it's a appetite suppressant, but nontheless it is dangerous aswell as High Frutose Corn Syrup. It will kill you. I know, that most foods we eat contain HFCC. But please read on it, the makers, admit that it causes liver damage and other illness~~~~> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_fructo...
