Does green tea taste bad to anyone else but me?!

Question: ahhahahahaha =)

Answers: ahhahahahaha =)

Yes, it does taste terrible. However, I found one that I like. It's called It's called Moroccan Mint Green Tea and is made by Stash. You won't even know that it's green tea.

Green tea does taste pretttty bad! The mixed berry green tea is equally as horrible!! but it is the new trend!!

It's nice to the most of the people but you are not one of them.
:)

Yep. Plain green tea - depending on the variety and brand - can taste like you picked some straw and brewed it in a pot of hot water.

I would recommend finding varieties which have flavoring added (mint, lemon, ginger, etc.) and then add honey or raw sugar to it. There are so many out there (Twinings, Stash, Celestial Seasonings) that have done an excellent job of hiding the green tea flavor. Go look at tea aisles at the grocery and natural food stores.

there are many types of green tea, but green tea itself each comes from different brand and taste differently. There are some that I really like and some is plainly awful. Normally cheap kind taste the worst......

yes. it's just awful.

It makes my mouth real happy like!
Kinda makes my tongue feel like it's being hugged by smurfs. :D

It tastes great to me. Maybe you're brewing it wrong/it was brewed wrong by someone. Then it can be bitter. Also, ask yourself was it good quality green tea - maybe if it wasn't good quality, it would also come out bitter or gross.

i dont like it either. i like white tea. its really sweet. my mom buys the rasberry white tea when i visit. i like to drink it halfway frozen.

It HAs SlimmiNG PROPerTIEs ThoUgH

nah it tastes gr8 2 me!!

me and hubby really like it, we've only recently bought it ..lipton mint flavour is what we are having at the moment.

It makes me feel queasy!

I love green tea! Especially raspberry green tea frapps and unstweeted iced green tea ( which I sweeten myself with 2 packets Splenda ) from Starbucks. Yum.

My husband hates it. I don't like it hot. Cold green tea mixed with a little apple-juice is nice.

Personally, I love green tea, but it is an acquired taste. You need to be careful when you brew it, because it can get very bitter if not prepared correctly. I have this problem with white tea--I find it gets bitter too quickly, and I just can't drink it like that.

Green tea tastes best if you use water that's about 180F, just under the boiling temperature (either let the water cool slightly, or turn off the kettle before it reaches a full boil). Also, you should only let it steep for about 2-3 minutes. As it gets stronger, the bitterness is more pronounced.

The green tea that you get at Japanese restaurants is made with matcha (powdered tea), and has a very different taste from loose or bagged green tea. It's stronger, more robust, and has more of a "nutty" flavour to it.
