Green Tea vs. White Tea?!

Question: What is the difference between the two?

Answers: What is the difference between the two?

White tea is made from the new leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. It's called white tea because when the leaves are picked, they are covered by fine white hair. The leaves are steamed and dried. It is the least processed type of true tea, and it has the most antioxidants, which may fight cancer. White tea has about 1/8 the caffeine as a cup of coffee. It should be brewed at a lower temperature than green tea. (Don't use boiling water for either type.) It has a natural sweetness, and its flavor lasts through multiple steepings. White tea is usually sold in loose form, and it is the most expensive kind of tea.

Green tea is made from the same plant, but it is a little more processed. The leaves are steamed, dried, rolled, and dried again, but not fermented like black tea. It is still a good source of antioxidants. It has about 1/4 as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. In its pure form, green tea often has a grassy flavor, but floral or fruit flavors may be added to it. Use water that is just shy of boiling, and let steep 1-3 minutes. Higher-quality loose tea leaves may be rebrewed a couple of times. Teabags should be steeped only once.

See the links below for more brewing information.

white tea is white and green tea is green.

im not exactly sure but you could probably google it though.
besides the tastes i know both are full of anti-oxidants and white tea is especially good for detoxifying the body.
sorry i couldn't hep you more

Green tea is better for you high in anti-oxidents white tea well is just white tea

Not sure the diff. Always drink green tea or orange\black tea. Never heard of white tea.

green teas are better for nutritional value, white teas just taste better

they are made from different tea leaves

White tea is more minimally processed than green tea. Both teas come from the same plant, but white tea almost entirely consists of younger leaves than green tea and these leaves only dried naturally, unlike green tea leaves which are usually steamed, then dried.

you can also taste the difference. Just like Heron has stated, green tea often has a grassy wheatlike taste. White tea has a very smooth and subtle taste. Just know that there are many different types of green tea and many types of white tea. Some taste similar to each other and some taste very different. If I were you, I would check out some tea sites if you need to know more differences.
