Gatorade VS Soda ?? Gatorade is more acidic???!

Question: it was recently brought to my attention that gatorade is more acidic than the majority of sodas. Although it has less sugar.

I'm a track sprinter and i nearly gave up soda last season and im not sure if it helped or not. But i always hear it helps when u cut down your sugar intake. But i am also concerned about my teeth. If the acid is what breaks down the enamel on your teeth than that would make gatorade worse.

Is there some other flavored drink that is healthy and convenient to buy in in packs?

What about vitamin water?

What do u all think?

all soda and sports drinks are bad for you. they all have high fructose corn syrup, which is extremely bad for you. its better to drink things without fructose corn syrup. i.e. water, or mix in a little crystal light or emergen-C, or lemon juice. its much healthier.

Here's a little something to consider for your decision... It might be a good idea to get specific when it comes to defining sugar.

Notice one of the comments towards the end brings up how Coca Cola in Japan uses Stevia instead of HFCS.

Plain water is the best for you, but flavored water is also good. It's better than those sports drinks and sodas.

Since soda has acid, it not only rots your teeth, it dissolves your bones. It also has tons of high fructose corn syrup. And vitamin water is a lie. You can only get vitamins through solids. So to activate the " vitamins" in vitamin water you should drink it with food. Remember, companies will do anything, even lie to you about how good the product is for you, just to make money. Also recycle all the plastic bottles you use! :)
