Question: 1. Does any soda cause cancer or blood clots- Ive heard it does- I drink a lot of diet coke and was wondering if there was any effects of it-
2. Is there any reprodictive effects of it?
3. Also I heard Mt Dew causes low sperm count, is that true?

There is controversy over the artificial sweetener aspartame and that one of the additives (don't remember) turns to benzene under certain hot conditions. The acidity of some of the additives eats the enamel of your teeth. A waitresses on YA commented on how she noticed that people who drank lots of diet soda were bloated (I have read that the body tries to dilute the poisons that accumulate in the cells, and therefore, you retain water). Coke made in Mexico does not use artificial sweeteners, but real sugar..however..it may be because there are artificial price supports that keep sugar prices relatively high in the U.S. so manufactures favor High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) or artificial sweetners because of price concerns. I think there is a website."the truth about aspartame..perhaps the words are all run together..but it is definately a no-no for me. I have found several brands of Organic soft drinks that are pretty good. It may be worth your try for peace of mind..besides..what harm can real food do to you?

1.NO
2.kind of see 3 only if your trying to have kids
3.Yes the yellow 5 in it does lower your sperm count.
