Must be your family genetics or because you have a derived immune system for sugar and it just keeps it to a minimum and you don't feel a change in your nervous system. Do any of the drinks or sugar you tried, usually have any type of "Caffeine" in them? If so, and you don't feel a change, then it pretty much a family gene. I have a best friend who is like that, and she hardly ever has a change of becoming hyper or have any type of "sugar rush", as to what you were talking about. My point is that you may need to talk with your parents about it and ask if they ever had that problem as a child, and if they did... Ask if they have that problem today. That might be your solution.

No two bodies are created 100% alike on Earth. Everyone is alike by 99.9% at birth and then that .1% is the difference that makes everyone different on this planet.

I hope that helps!

my bf im not gay im n his stuff but he says after i drink lemonade i get really crazzy i alomst crashed his car today he blames it on the lemonade

maybe it's in your genes but actually if I drank energy drink I still feel the same and for coffee Im pulpitating only.

A sugar rush is a myth and any doctor will tell you that. Caffiene is a different story.

am like u i dont feel anything after consuming suger or cafain

no I dont really get a sugar rush.

sometimes get it with coffee.

I think a lot of it has to do with how fast you digest the sugars and then metabolize them. Those who get the rush, have metabolized the sugars quickly and have a metabolism that uses the sugars quickly. The rest either burn it off slowly or turn it into fat. As the others said it is part of your genetics.

It's the same as me. I have been thinking of this for ages now. And i narrowed it down to 2 different ideaas.
1) either you've consumed lots and lots and lots of sugar on a regular basis, so when you eat sugar now, it doesnt affect you. (kinda like drug addicts, they need more and more drugs to get high), or
2) you have a high metabolism. I ate 4 bowls of chocolate icecream once with all the possible toppings, and didn't feel any different. So it could just be metabolism, where your body can process the sugar quicker.

Some people, after consuming a high energy drink, are more seceptable to the contents. especially if they have not had many in the past. their body is not yet used to metabolizing the sugar in high doses or breaking down the other ingredients.

Other kids might have a placebo effect. They know what the drink is supposed to do to them and act upon that, because that's what's supposed to happen when you drink a Monster. If you've had a constant supply of Mountain Dew all your life, you won't feel the effects of a monster as much as someone who drinks water all the time.
