Can Minors buy mouthwash with alcohol in it?!

Question: I saw this episode of Intervention where a lady was an alcoholic and bought bottles of mouthwash, and would drink it. I guess if they want a fix, they drink mouthwash.

Some places are putting restrictions on it.:

There are additives in mouthwash that will make you sick before you get drunk.

Denatured alcohol is ethanol which has been rendered toxic or otherwise undrinkable, and in some cases dyed.Antiseptic mouthwash such as Listerine is denatured to avoid being taxed as an alcoholic beverage.

I'm not aware of any states enacting laws preventing this....yet. And it would be up to the individual states.
It is fairly common knowledge that alcoholics will drink anything with alcohol in it and that encompasses much more than just mouthwash.

yea. cause thats not what its initial use is for. kinda like im only 18 and i can go out and buy cooking wine. it has alcohol in it and if you drink enough of it, it could get you drunk but its not a very smart idea.

Yes. Some of the most common brands contain alcohol.. and anyone can purchase them.

I think so.
