My Brita Pitcher Water Tastes Funny?!

Question: My water in my pitcher seems to pick up the tastes from other foods in the fridge. Has anyone else had this happen to there pitchers? If so, how in the world do I get it stop?

Baking soda, or change the filter on the pitcher.

I notice if I leave the water for too long (don't drink it within a couple days) it will start tasting like the fridge. so... change the water out if it's a couple days old.

Put an open box of baking soda in your fridge.

I would say change your filter, and also get a box of baking soda, open it and put it in the back of your fridge, it will pick up the smells in your fridge.

as others suggested, put a few boxes of baking soda in there. Or better yet, clean out your fridge. It sounds like you have some nasty odors in there for regular water to pick that smell up.

Check the model number. If it has a "C" in it....You have one of the ones made for Clowns.
THATS why it tastes Funny...

Change your filter, put a box (open) of baking soda in your fridge and drink the water faster. There isn't much sense in filtering water to take up space in your fridge.
