Is there a DRINK called Yahoo in the UK?!

Question: I just had someone ask on the US site whether Yahoo (the site) was associated with the drink. I thought they referred to the American drink, Yoo-Hoo, and answered that. But someone mentioned that there IS a drink called Yahoo in the UK. Can I get a confirmation, a LINK to the DRINK?!

I think there's a drink called Yazoo.

Yazoo is a milkshake that I used to drink when I was little, so that could be what they mean.

theres a brand of milkshake called Yazoo

lol we have yazoo which is bottles of milkshake.........?

i think you are probably thinking of 'yakult' not yahoo

yes there is it comes in 3 flavours chocolate, strawberry, lemon, its just flavoured milk

Never heard of it & ive lived here 29 of my 36 years in the UK

there is a milkshake called YAZOO, i answered that question too.

I've heard of Yoohoo, but not Yahoo......

I used to live in England and I never heard of a drink called "Yahoo" but I think there is a drink with a similar name. The reason Yahoo named their company that is for the following reasons according to some sites I found, which I have linked:

["The word was invented by Jonathan Swift and used in his book Gulliver's Travels. It represents a person who is repulsive in appearance and action and is barely human. Yahoo! founders Jerry Yang and David Filo selected the name because they considered themselves yahoos."

The name Yahoo! is an acronym for "Yet Another Hierarchical Officious Oracle," but Filo and Yang insist they selected the name because they liked the general definition of a yahoo: "rude, unsophisticated, uncouth."]

There is one called YAZOO. its a milk drink.

would have no idea

This probably doesn't apply, but then again, may. In 1964, when Barry Goldwater was running for president of the United States, a soda was brought out to sell for money for his run for office.

The bottle was green and had the atomic numbers AU H2O on the label( Gold Water).

When his presidential campaign failed, the same drink came out almost immediately in the same bottle but with a cartoon picture of a " Hillbilly" with a Kentucky Rifle and grubby clothes. The label said " Yahoo, Mountain Dew". This is how the whole Dew, Mountain Dew thing started and possibly someone is confusing the old label saying with a product or the current product. Obviously, Mountain Dew was slang for moonshine but this had no alcohol.

I wish I had kept my empty AU H2O) bottles, ( called Goldwater). My older brother was in the Young Republicans and and this is about the only reason I am aware of the product since I was just a boyscout at that time.

( I can remember this stuff but can't remember what I had for lunch)

No, it's Yazoo, or like you said, the American chocolate malty drink - YooHoo.

There is a Yazoo in the UK which is a milkshake:
