Either

im pretty sure its just regular coke haha

I think it's Diet. Also the Mythbusters say to use Mint Mentos

Here's what wiki says:
"As explained on an episode of MythBusters, diet sodas (particularly colas due to their visible brown color) are most commonly used for the experiment. Mythbusters also found out that wax coated Mentos don't cause that reaction, which is not entirely true. Though their reactions are not on the same scale, they are still reactions. People are often under the illusion that aspartame causes the reaction—this is only partly true; the MythBusters have shown aspartame to be one of many reactive components and/or catalysts in both the soda and the Mentos. Diet colas are also preferred because they do not contain large amounts of sugar like regular colas. Sugar molecules help keep the carbon dioxide in solution, slowing the reaction. Artificial sweeteners in diet colas are much sweeter per molecule, and so make up a smaller proportion of the solution and allow a faster reaction; they also enhance the reaction. (Colas lacking sugar are also much easier to clean up afterward)."

Mythbusters:
"But you have to have the right Mentos."
"The non-mint type," Hyneman says, "have a glaze on them, and they don't work at all. It only works with the mint ones, because they have a matte finish. That surface serves as these little portals for the gas to escape through."

diet is used with mentos because it dosent produce a sticky mess. regular can also be used, if you want a tape like lawn or porch

Regular. Something about coke light for all of you ladies and gentlemen reading this: one swipe of coke light on your tongue may cause your cellulite to reproduce(I cant think of a better word for the time being) 4times faster.

Definately "Diet Coke from the Coca Cola Company along with a paper tube of mint mentos.

For best results try to get them all in the bottle within the shortest amount of time. Something about the expansion of carbon dioxide bubbles on the surface of the mentos
