Water versus Squash?!
Answers: We are all supposed to drink loads of water, I think it's 2 litres a day. I do like water but drinking 2 litres of it is pretty boring, is it o.k. to drink squash as part of my daily allowance. I don't like it very strong so I can't see it would make any difference. What do you think?
G'day,
Just pour cold water into a glass and squeeze a wedge of lemon or lime into it. Stir it well. It is slightly astringent tasting... but so quenching. I live in the tropics and drink more than 2 ltrs per day of straight water. But for a change I give my water a hit of lemon or lime.
Cheers
Lisa

squash is fine but go for reduced sugar
as long as there is water in it its fine same with tea
as long as it contains water, it does not matter how you get it into you but be careful of caffiene based drinks, when you are in the mood try a bottle of buckfast
i like ribena
There is no dietary daily allowance that his been set for water intake. Drink when you are thirsty. If something else quenches your thirst, why drink more water? It will only get excreted.
More fluids are only necessary during exercise, hot weather, or sickness.
What is squash?
It has become common knowledge now - we don't have to drink 2 litres a day but to drink the amount you are comfortable with.
I'm sure it's fine with juice, after all it is still water.
Have fun....................x
love ice cold water1
its fine as long as you get the one that has no added suger.
100% PURE WATER is the best solvent the body needs, what i`m saying here is squash is a solution of water ofcourse but it`s not plain water because it contains some other componets that the body has to go under the necessary digestion or those gizmos whatever you call them...myself i`m not a Biology geek but pure or mineral water is the best medication you can ever get in this planet.
Some people do say Drink Beer And Save WATER....`cause they know that without water there is no alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and a lot of other beverages.
Drink water and be healthy...it`s also boost your digestive system you know.
even 'no added sugar' squash contains sugar as it is a fruit juice and all fruit contains sugar, really bad for your teeth.
tea without sugar is healthy - anti-toxicants, but watch the caffeine.
water is the healthier option, but i agree it is boring.
everything in moderation is the logical way to go.
definitely! But apparently when the report about 2 litres a day came out everyone forgets that this includes water from food, which is usually more than we actually drink. your body tells you when you need water, so don't worry about it!
squash does contain water but the water is kinda ruined coz of da flavorings. i would just stick with 8 glasses of water or 12 glasses of squash since it contains less water
