Heres a couple that r Delicious!

STRAWBERRY-BLACKBERRY SMOOTHY

6-8 strawberries (fresh or frozen)
6-8 blackberries (fresh or frozen)
8 ice cubes
2 1/2 cups lowfat or non-fat milk
1 scoop whey powder

Rinse and cut tops of strawberries, and rinse blackberries. Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and enjoy.
Perfect for dieting, or leave out whey powder and add ice cream for a delicious smoothy drink.

Makes about 3-5 cups.


OR


CREAMY DELIGHT SMOOTHY

1 banana
6 strawberries
1 c. milk
3 t. yogurt
5 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 c. cream
2 t apple juice
2 t vanilla

Blend all ingredients


OR


RASPBERRY PEACH SMOOTHIE WITH EQUAL

2 cups soy milk
1 cup lowfat plain yogurt
1 cup frozen unsweetened sliced peaches
1/2 frozen unsweetened red raspberries
1/2 cup Equal? Spoonful*
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Fresh mint (optional)

Place all ingredients in blender container. Cover with lid. Process until smooth.
Serve immediately in tall glasses. Garnish with fresh mint, if desired.

Makes 4 servings (1 cup each).


OR


STRAWBERRY KIWI SMOOTHIE WITH EQUAL

1 cup vanilla low fat yogurt
4 medium size kiwi, peeled, chopped
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup Equal? Spoonful*
2 cups unsweetened frozen strawberries

Place all ingredients except strawberries in blender container; cover. Puree until smooth. Add strawberries and puree until smooth. Serve immediately in tall glasses.
Makes 4 servings.


OR


PEACH & PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE

4 ripe petite bananas, skinned & frozen
1 cup peaches, frozen
2-3 ice cubes
3/8 c. reduced fat peanut butter at room temperature
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
dash cinnamon and nutmeg

Gently blend and pulverize frozen bananas and peaches and ice in a food processor or chop by hand. Warm peanut butter in a stainless steel bowl in hot water or in unopened can in steamer to about 140°F so it will flow easier. If peanut butter separates, beat together with a fork.
Blend peanut butter into frozen fruit mixture for 15-30 seconds. Blend in spices. Portion into cup servings. Refreeze to 10°-20°F.

Makes 6 servings.

Try this.

Bananas, strawberries and half & half with a very small amount of fresh ground nutmeg and a little vanilla. Blend in the desired proportions with ice.

This one is yummy for breakfast!
-vanilla almond milk
-banana
-whole orange (peeled and sectioned)
-at least a cup of ice
-1/2 cup plain yogurt
-dab of honey
-a lot of freshly-ground cinnamon

Wholefood Farmacy has smoothie mixes, which you can mix in with any recipe, or use with ice cubes and rice milk, yogurt etc. They taste good and add a lot of nutrition.l

I like to start out with a banana, or some other fruit, yogurt, or kefir (better than yogurt) with fresh squeezed juice, ice cubes...just play it by ear with what you have on hand usually works great. Put some nutritional yeast in for added B vitamins. It adds a nutty taste and protein.
