How good for you is Vitamin Water?!

Question: It has vitamins but no actual fruit juice, so I was just wondering if maybe I'm better off drinking real fruit juice?

"I'm skeptical about the vitamin waters currently available, but I do see a role for the concept. For the many people who can't take pills or don't like taking them, vitamin-infused water could be a satisfactory alternative."

This comes from the following link below, if you wanna check out the site. It was written by an M.D so it's a fairly good source. Hope it helps :)

No that good.

Sure. Drink fruit juice. It tastes way better then crummy vitamin water.

well, it kind of makes sense..

It has more sugar then people think actually.

Go with the fruit juice. Vitamin water has many calories.

its freaking deliciuos

Better for you than tequila, which is kinda like a fruit juice. Not worth the $ though

i personal luv the stuff
im drinkin it right now
i think its good for you
but i think ur just as good drinkin real 100% fruit jucie

It is not as good as real fruit juice, but better than fruit drinks that only contain a small percent of real juice and a lot of high fructose corn syrup.

It is good if you only drink it in moderation about 1/2 a bottle

Personally, I like Vitamin Water better, but I don't really like anything really sweet. I don't know how good it actually is for you.

it's not good for you at all. lately on tv there have been comercials showing that there is no nutritinal value from vitamin water. there are crystal light single packets that have zero calories and no sugar but taste great that my doctor recomends.

ill make a list of what better and whats worse than vitiman water

1. normal water (best)
2 Gatorade
3 vitiman water
4 Juice.
5 sugar water
6. soda
7 energy drinks(the damage and Kill your heart kidney and liver)
7

It is a hell of a lot better than soda and HiC, Kool-aid, ocenspary, juice juice, and the such it does have many vitamins in it which is fantastic but you need to rember there is quite of bit of sugar in it and your body doesn't absord all of the vitimans, Now if you made your own juice (bought fruit and used juicer) than that would be so much better for you because the sugar is natural and nothing is artifical in it.

water is good for you, vitamins dont keep that well in water ive been told. Drink juice ( nATURAL) IS BEST.

Just remember that fruit juice is high in sugar (in some cases as high as soda).

Vitamin Water is a very expensive way to get your vitamins. If you think you need a vitamin supplement, you would get more value for your money by using a multiple vitamin and a less expensive beverage.

Good Luck

Not great. Especially the ones with nasty guarana caffeine and just lots of sugar. I've heard that your body can't always absorb all the minerals and vitamins from pills, so you'd be better off with a balanced diet and fruit juice with low amounts of sugar or at least real sugar (not corn syrup). Also, I have found it to taste like someone straight up ground up vitamins and put them in water, sort of gritty and not well mixed.
