Burp in Ribena!

Seriously, there's not much difference. Actually skimmed milk has recently been shown to be the quickest drink to rehydrate you. If you really want something to give you immediate energy too, you could warm it up and dissolve some honey in it. As for making it fizzy, I guess you could put it through a soda stream if you really wanted to.
I'm sure this isn't quite the answer you thought you were going to get, but nevertheless it's true!

Looking at one of your other answers; if you are going to use this whilst exercising, beware of trying to recreate something like Red Bull. It contains stimulants which put extra strain on your heart, and can cause serious medical problems. There was even some talk of banning it a few years ago after some deaths amongst gym users.

Interesting question.
I would start with a base of club soda, then go to your local health food market and get concentrated gurana, taurine, grape sugar, or any other "energy granting" powder and mix away.
Read the back of a can of Red Bull or something and see what they add, most of the stuff you can find at Whole Foods or something similar.

50% Lemonade 50% orange Juice and a pinch of salt.
