I hate diet soda but I drink it because I'm on a diet. Any alternatives?!

Question: I want to get diet soda completely out of my diet. I don't like it but I keep buying it because it keeps me up all day, it has no calories, and it helps me get through cravings. I used to drink black coffee but I don't like it anymore. I love cranberry juice or apple juice but they have too many calories. Any suggestions on some drinks that have no calories and can reduce my hunger cravings? I drink water all the time but I want to have something that's not so plain.

Tea, and water. They now make cranberry diet, it's actually pretty good. Also, try unsweetened grapefruit juice the ruby red is pretty good as well, and it's a catalyst so it will help you in your diet.

Tea

Water. I drink those little crystal light packet things.

gatorade maybe
diet i bad for u

coke zero.
amazing.

another yummy, filling and healthy treat is a smoothie.
NO ICE CREAM NO SUGAR.
Just fresh fruit and crushed ice.
Tastes like a desert, but has no added sugar, and its good for you. (Strawberry Banana is a good mix)

Crystal Light (Lite) make some little tube thingies that you can add to a bottle of water. Lemonade and iced tea to name a couple. Pretty decent, they are.

There are various sugar free add ins for water - some sized in individual servings.

And you can also add a twist of lemon to your water for variety.

diet soda is very bad for you. the chemicals in it keep weight on-even though it says no calories the artificial sweetner is doing more harm than good. Drink Tea-and for a natural alternative to sugar-try Stevia. It contains nothing that can hurt you.

Try flavored water

crystal light....
better yet... some supermarkets have their own "brand" of crystal light like beverage mix.... in little packets too.... they are tasty and healthier than soda
super market brand is way cheaper too

Scientist have recently discovered that people who use artificially sweetened products actually consume more calories as a result. It seems that when our bodies detect high amounts of sugar, it sends signals to us to tell us we are full and so we stop eating/drinking. In artificially sweetened drinks etc, the body doesn't recognise this and so we consume more calories until we do feel full. Therefore, as part of a balanced diet, it may make more sense for you to drink non diet drinks, because you enjoy them more, and will satisfy your cravings sooner.

A registered dietitian recommended Crystal Light to me--less calories and sugar-free, it even comes in diff. flavors.

Diet soda is actually worse than the regular soft drink. Try something like tea.

Tea or herbal teas.
Water down the apple juice by half.
Drink loads of water-with lemon, with a tiny bit of Crystal Lite in it or some juice.

Add those crystal light packets to your water.

Diet Soda is actually more unhealthy for you than regular soda. Diet soda has Aspartame in it which is not a good thing.

How bout simple juice drinks ? There nice gud 4 u and help toward ur 5 aday :) Lots of different flavours

club soda is one idea, if you're into the taste of it.
otherwise, lots of people are into the taste of juices mixed with club soda. the bubbles help fill you up, without calories, and it tastes a lot like your favorite juice.
some people call it an italian soda when you mix club soda (with its zero calories) with a flavoring...

I like the idea of crystal light, but the things you're avoiding in diet sodas, like fake flavors that could cause cancer, are in crystal light too!!

Tea with Splenda.

Hey Saiila

If your looking for a drink that would help with your hunger cravings and is very very low in calories. I would suggest Crave, you can google it and see what you come up with I will also place a link below. It is an energy drink that comes in a packet similar to Crystal Light and you would mix it the same way you do Crystal Light. There is only 9 calories a serving..

Hope this helps..

Try some Sobe. I love that stuff. It got me off of soda

water , gatorade , powerade

you could drink tea, sprite/sierra mist. crystal lite, of water is boring to you then crystal lite should help
