Answers: i had this today at a party and it was great!

It's a non-alcoholic drink to begin with. Sprite or other lemon-lime soda, grenadine syrup & a cherry is used.

Here's a recipe I found by using google.com:

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 1/2 tablespoons grenadine syrup
1 maraschino cherry

DIRECTIONS
In a highball glass, over ice, combine lemon-lime soda and grenadine. Stir well and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Any kind of glass can be used, not just a highball one. I make these drinks all the time for my son & his friends.

Sprite and 2 oz of grenandine(or maraschino cherry juice)

The Shirley Temple drink is always non-alcoholic. The original drink contains two parts ginger ale, one part orange juice, and a small splash of grenadine, garnished with a maraschino cherry and lemon slice.

A Shirley Temple never has alcohol. It consists of 7up and grenadine. A Roy Rogers is Coke and grenadine.

Aren't shirley temples non alcoholic?
