How come when I drink milk I get really bad and smelly gas?!

Question: When I'm at college I never drink milk and have barely any gas!
But when I come home and have milk its pretty much the opposite.

This isn't a joke or anything either I'm being serious.

You are likely allergic. Try Lactaid milk.

maybe it's the kind of milk you drink.is it regular milk? you know the homogenized? try 2 or 1 %.it's not that bad.or really soy if you can. that's even better.

Possibly are lactose intolerant.

You apparently have an intolerance to milk. Try the lactose free milk. See if that blows up the room. :-)

You are probably lactose intolerant to a degree. Does the same thing happen when you eat cheese?

You might want to try something like Lactaid. You can buy it over the counter.

There is a very good chance that you may be lactose intolerant. Go about one week without any dairy products and then try a glass of milk or a bowl of ice cream. If you have the bad gas again then you may want to keep some Lactaid tablets with you for whenever you are out and have some dairy products. To avoid any embarassment.

ummmm...lactose intolerance?..also, maybe milk is different or since u usually dont drink it, the milk upsets ure stomach..
