Is cranberry juice good or bad for you?!

Question: The ocean spray.
Healthy? Not?
Why?

Answers: The ocean spray.
Healthy? Not?
Why?

why the sudden curiousity in
healthy liquids??? haha

well... i would say not.
Because ocean spray is one of those
brands like juicy fruit that has a certain
percentage of NATURAL fruit juice,,
but there is also a very large portion
per serving that is pure sugar.
There are other brands i think that are
like 100 % natural. of course the taste
isn't going to be as great as the ocean
spray one... but it's obviously better for you.
cranberry's themselves are verrrry
healthy for you. i think they have alot of
...antioxidants ?? something like that.
<-- 10 points.
:D

If it contains added sugar or artificial sweeteners, and especially high fructose corn syrup it is bad for you. Straight cranberry juice is extremely healthy but also extremely bitter. Most brands are mixed with other juices like apple or grape, and they are high in natural fructose so they will be high in calories, and they don't contain much cranberry juice.
You can get cranberry capsules at the health food store that are concentrated dried cranberry in a nice little gel cap so that you can get the benefits without the sugar.

YEEES! especially if your a woman!
i know it helps with..
-constipation
-UTI
-heart
-skin & beauty (face etc....)

DRINK IT UP!!!!!!

advised by my doctor good for urinary problems like infections have also read about this benefit so it definitely good for you but I would add occasionally not necessary all the time as there is also benefit in drinking other fruit and vegetable juices

Cranberry juice is good for you but look @ the Ocean spray ingredients list. A lot of them don't contain much juice. Most likely they with have two or three ingredients before you get a drop of cranberry juice. If you want to drink Ocean spray try the "no sugar added". Its sweetened with grape juice, which is also a very good antioxidant!

cranberry juice is great for your kidneys and urinary tract. it cleans them out. For people who have kidney disease or problems they recomend drinking plenty of cranberry juice. the less sugar the better. more natural the better. but if it says juice then it has to have juice from cranberries in it. all natural. the only way to drink.

Yes it is very good for you it cleans out your bladder if you get a bladder infection the doctor always tells you to drink cranberry juice it think it has antioxidants which is good for you

it's fantastic when you feel a cold coming on......drink gallons of the stuff and the cold is less severe and goes away quicker

You would be better to juice or eat cranberries yourself. You can add juiced cranberries to juiced apples or juiced oranges for a natural sweeter taste.

Corn syrup and fructose which are in Ocean Spray are basically refined sugar, which is very bad for you.

.

cranberry juice is good for you, rinses out the kidney

Ocean Spray is better for you than soda, but not really as helpful as most people believe. The cranberry juice cocktails they market are mostly sugar water or apple juice. If you really want all the health benefits of drinking cranberry juice, you need to make sure it is the natural unsweetened and unfiltered kind. Ocean Spray recently started marketing one. Most people don't like to drink it because it is very very tart. However you can dilute it with water or a tiny bit of other fruit juice.

The sugars in the juice cocktails inhibit the healthful effects of the cranberries. If you can't stomach the natural stuff, you're better off just drinking water.

Yes. Just don't drink too much, the sugar content may give you zits

Always purchase cranberry juice NOT cranberry juice drink. This subtle labelling difference is crucial.

Anything called 'juice drink' contains added sugar and preservatives and very little real juice - often made from concentrates.

cranberry juice is good for you, especially 'water works'
