most americans drink coffee. it's really just an american obsession.
tea is considered more upper class because it's a european thing, and europe has a lot of "old money", which is far classier than the "new money" of the americas.

the most expensive tea is more than the most expensive coffee. Hope that say something.

tea is much more formal while coffee is more for business and educational settings

Tea. But now because of american sitcoms people are finding coffee the 'in' thing to drink.

tea forsure

upper class??? tea is a morning or afternoon drink in Europe; espresso served in demitasse cups is an after dinner drink.

I think tea definatly, I mean its always said and considered posh to have "tea and scones" or like you said "tea with the queen"

Tea darling.....tip top!

Well, if you can find 2 pennies, you're doing better than me.

That said, I drink Earl Gray with goats milk and honey.

I just like it that way, go figure!

I really do not think tea/coffee defines a person.

Good question.

Tea. Coffee is a vulgar American habit.

TEA

I prefer Kopi Luwak Coffee...

tea the upperclass

Tea-it used to be drank in the afternoon with cakes and called High Tea

I would have thought that having a cup of tea would have been more 'spophisticated' .
(have I spelt this right, if so WOW ^^)
