Answers: so i have a monster energy drink (16 oz) basicly one every day... so is really bad for me

An 8 ounce serving of monster contains 80mgs of caffeine.

An 8 ounce serving of coffee contains 60-100mgs of caffeine depending on the roast and the type of coffee bean that is used.

An 8 ounce serving of monster contains 100 calories and 27 grams of sugar.

An 8 ounce serving of Coke Classic also contains 100 calories and 27 grams of sugar.

How many people do you think fill up their travel mug (most are about 16-20 ounces) with coffee in the morning and then buy a 20 ounce bottle of coke (or other non-diet sodas) on their lunch break? They're actually consuming MORE caffeine and sugar then you with your one can of monster.

Honestly, it's not the healthiest habit but it's not going to kill you either. Stick with water for the rest of the day to stay hydrated and to avoid excess calorie consumption from your beverages.

At least you're getting some vitamins in there too. ;)

Limit yourself to just the one can a day and you'll be ok.

EDIT: You're 13? Crap.. yeah.. I'd cut back a bit.. it's probably not the best thing for growing bodies.

Yea, you'll turn into hulk.

ues this is bad i dont why but my sister had been drinking monsters a lot and had too go to the hospital for stomach problems

yeah there is so much caffeine in them, more than coffee

Monsters never had any effect on me.... I don't know why, maybe my body became used to caffeine?

yes. Caffeine addiction is real. It causes insomnia (i know!), headache/migraines, heart problems, the list goes on...

basically, you're having alot of calories and caffeine. it's not going to kill you right now, since you seem to have been drinking them for a while, but the calories can add up. be sure to check the serving size and the nutritional label. alot of times, there's 2 servings in the can. the caffeine can be harmful if you're sensitive to it.

i have been drinking the 16oz energy drinks for over 2 years every day and nothing bad has happened to me :)
