I hate it when I have a nice, hot cup of coffee... and 10 minutes later it's cold! What can I do?!

Question: Do thermos' work? And for how long? any more suggestions on how I can keep my coffee warm?
thanks

There are many types of Thermos's..........Large ones that keep Coffee or any Hot Liquid Hot for at least 24 hours. And then Smaller ones that do the same thing, but, only for shorter periods of time..........

There are also Cup Warmers that are Electric Pads that you actually set your cup/mug of Coffee on and it keeps it at a hot temperature........

You could buy a little coaster that has a warmer in it. It runs by batteries. You just set your cup of coffee on it and it will stay warm.

If you are in the car, get some of those extra cupholders that hang off of the dash...when your heat is turned on, your coffee will stay hot.

I would say drink it quickly but that obviously isn't going to help. Keep it in a thermal mug of some sort perhaps. To keep the heat going longer. If you know you're not going to drink it for awhile try to make it warmer before you pour it. That way when you do drink it hopefully it will still be warm.

get a cup warmer

use a good thermo, or else heat it up in microwave.

Thermos - put out large and small thermoses (sp?).. they do a cup size - I used to put a warm milo in one at the beginning of the day at school and it was still warm in the middle of the day - so yes they do work.

:-)

A thermal cup will help, but pre-heating any cup by rinsing it out with boiling water before pouring the coffee will prolong the heat of the coffee in the cup.

keep it covered
buy a warmer coaster
preheat you coffee cup.. ( while coffee is brewing put really hot water in it. or place hot water in it and stick in microwave for 40 seconds)

There are answers that come to mind: Yes, a thermos can work. Also the microwave to warm your coffee will do the trick.

At our office, I use an air pot to keep coffee hot for hours rather than allowing the coffee pot to continue cooking it.

Since I make a pot of the good stuff for our office coffee club members, it stays hot and fresh because I pour it into the air pot. Then I make a pot of regular old coffee to remain in the coffee pot so non-members can have a hot cup of Joe also.

Have you seen those little electric beverage warmers that
have metal that gets hot to go into your cup to keep your beverage warm?

I'm sure there are other ways to keep your coffee hot. But
my real answer is to start with the good stuff and it may not stay in your cup long enough to cool. Hope this helps.

Well if you drink your coffee's with milk in them, dont add as much milk.

I drink black and it stays warm for a long time.

just put it in the microwave for a minute or so . it will be hot again .

ive seen a drinks coaster that you plug in to your usb and it keeps your drinks warm whilst on answers!!

If it truly is a Nice Cup, drink it cold. I have found the flavors of my coffee's change to different attributes as they change temperature.
Of course I am referring to home roasted REAL coffee and not the canned 'swill' that the Inconvenience markets supply. If you are drinking canned....I cannot help you with your issue.
