Does green tea really boost metabolism?!

Metabolism --- as in burning calories. No. Green Tea, however has antioxidant qualities. You can undoubtedly Google that, or go on Andrew Weil's website... he's rather the guru on health stuff... wrote a great book called Healthy Aging. You can sign up for the e-mail letter too. Dump the idea of signing up for his vitamins... vitamins are vitamins, so anywhere is cheaper. But the book is good. As well, he wrote a cook book too. Well educated doc, Harvard trained.

One of the things that you might remember is that colorful foods are healthy. Try to eat 5 colors every meal.

i'm not sure about water, but def green tea. i started losing weight only by adding it everyday!

well it has mine i used to drink allot of soft drinks and on the go allot so we did the fast food thing often my cholesterol was high and i got sick more often i switched to green tea Lipton with citrus it has all kinds of antioxidants in it and the citrus in it is vitamin c it,s all good for you well i just had my yearly check up about a month ago and my cholesterol is down and i feel better i haven,t even gotten a cold this year so it must be great for you and it would boost metabolism to if you feel better you have more energy if nothing more

Yes it will boost your metabolism! But you will going to the bathroom a lot....green tea makes me go pee sooooo much!! lol

That is it's claim, but it's probably so insignificant that it doesn't even matter.
