Did I make an butt of myself at Starbucks when they closed?!
Answers: Last Tuesday, I went to starbucks and the doors were locked. I was surprised because it was only 6pm and I usually go there between 6 and 8 sometimes to get my caffeine fix. Well, I peered through the glass and I saw a little gathering of people there. I started knocking on the glass pretty loudly and they all looked at me with confusing looks. And i was like WTF, holding my hand out like holding a coffee mug, and drinking it. Well, they still went about their business, and I started knocking again. Well one chick started walking towards me and pointed to some piece of paper. It said something about Barista training. I felt like an a-rse Should I have?
Don't worry about it. I'm surprised you didn't hear about it. It made national news. They did a whole thing about it the day before. It's all good. I'm sure something similar has happened to all of us. I know it has to me.
I would've done the same thing , but you could have at least checked for a sign first! It's okay , I wouldn't blame you . -.-;
I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago. The sign was tiny and in a weird place and they completely ignored me. You would think they would do a little better making it clear what is going on especially since people are creatures of habbit and we just get used to things...

It was well publicized that Starbucks was going to close for a few hours to train their staff......but.....they could have nicely informed you when you were outside the store that they were closed at that time.
no..you did the right think. the barristas need to know how to deal with caffiene jonesing customers.

Reports of how they were closing for this that day were all over the media. The folks inside probably wondered why you were acting like you didn't have a clue.
