1. Chocolate syrup mixed with seltzer. Its a good mix, it might be a bit of an acquired taste though.
2. Egg Cream- Its basically made like this :
you put about 5 ounces of milk (into a 14 oz cup), then 2 or 3 squirts of U-Bet Chocolate syrup, and finish it off with seltzer.
or you can have it Brooklyn style, where you have the seltzer being administered through a pressurized system such as a bartender's hose, or out of a fountain soda machine. You must fill the glass with it, then have a few additional ounces of seltzer in order for the glass to overfill, then you stir it. And enjoy
Both drinks are quite an acquired taste. The first time I had an egg cream, I spat it out immediately. But after the second try, I got hooked. A lot of resturants can't make a decent egg cream, so its better to make your own. Even if you don't like soda, give this a try.
