I live in South-Western Indiana and we say "pop"....I was raised in Southern Texas and they say "soda".

Typically, soda. But pop is perfectly acceptable. Soda is just the norm...Southern Illinois.

I call it pop, soda, cola, carbonated beverage. Currently I live in Texas, and a lot of people here say "Coke" even though they don't want coke, they call all sodas "coke".
