Love coffee, Don't like being up late at night!!?!

Question: I love drinking coffee but it keeps me up so late at night until 3-4am in the morning so I’m very tired for work the next day. I only drink coffee on Fridays and Saturdays when I'm not working the next day. The coffee shop I get my coffee from does not offer decaf so I was wonder is there something I can take or eat or drink to cancel out the side effects of coffee? I don’t want to take sleeping pills because I heard that not really good for you.

thanks

I feel your pain. I work at Starbucks and drink a lot of coffee. Sometimes i have to get up @ 3:00 am to go to work so I take MELATONIN about an hour before I go to bed. Its natural and non addictive, plus you don't feel all groggy when your alarm goes off. You can buy it at any drug store. I swear by it...good luck.

decaff

Take tylenol or sleeping pills before you go to bed......

try decaf

Replace the coffee by hot chocolate, prepared with milk, it will make you have a nice night.

If I've had coffee or energy drinks during the day and I'm still wired when I need to go to sleep I usually have a drink-either a beer or two, or a little bit of some kind of harder liquor.

I Agree With the Above Statement. Melatonin is A GREAT Natural Sleeping Supplement. You Might have a Tough Time Finding It At A grocery Store though, Try A GNC, or Vitamin World, Just Ask the Person At the Counter, They'll find it for you. Also Try Getting Tablets With At Least 5mg of Melatonin In Each. They're not too expensive either, Roughly 6 dollars for a bottle of 60 Tablets.

Drink LOTS of water after your last cup of coffee or maybe in between the cups. Maybe water down your coffee with hot water & extra cream, that works for some people. Or buy your own decaf & mix it with the coffee from the shop. I like the hot chocolate idea. Maybe mix hot chocolate with the coffee from the shop. Good luck!
