Why can't you buy real Cherry Soda anymore?!
Answers: There is Black Cherry Soda, Cherry Pepsi and Coke but no Red Cherry Soda sold at the supermarket. At least that I ever see. I have had Cherry Soda at a restaurant, from a soda fountain machine but never in a bottle. I went to Fanta’s website because they make every other kind of fruit soda but still no Red Cherry Soda. I don’t think anyone will have an answer but it is one of those little things that drives me nuts because there does not seem to be a reason.
They do make a cherry Coke but it may not be available in your area.
I know 7up makes a cherry flavor. And they just introduced a cherry chocolate Dr Pepper.
The biggest problem (for stores) is shelf space. At one time there were at least 10 different flavers of Coke including lemon, cherry, lime, berry and all the diet counterparts. Pepsi did the same. You have to have a spot on your shelf for each of these flavors so some stores choose to sell only the top movers.

It's just marketing. People were probably beginning to scrutinize the use of maraschino cherries or something. It's all just corn syrup and dye anyway.
I wouldn't be surprised if the recipe remained unchanged.

Go to the non-name brand soda's and look for Faygo Pop. It has EVERY kind of soda, including Cherry! It's VERY sweet but good for a sweet tooth.
I have seen it at the fountain in Zaxby's
because it is very bad 4 ur liver and cloths up ur arteries
