If bottle water is stripped of all its nutrition then is it still better for you then a sugary juice or pop?!

Question: It depends.

Does your body need the sugar or not?

Assuming you're getting enough nutrition other ways, plain water is preferable.

As a bounus, water will not promote tooth decay.

Yes. Water is its own nutrition.

You mean like distilled water? It should provide satisfaction with your thirst. Any water I think would be better than sugary drinks. Except for sewage water and salt water.

Yes there are no additives or sugars!

Juice and fruit has natural sugar, which isnt as bad for you as people think. Its the bleached chemical made white sugar that you need to be weary of. Water is water, it might be better for your teeth than eating sweets but juice pops really usually arent 100% juice unless you make them or find that kind so its not that good for you.

Yes. the body needs water to replenish itself. It is filling and does not add unnecessary sugar to your body which we don't need. Water helps to detoxify our system and washes out fat cells. Water is life to the body.

Water has no nutrition per se, but it's necessary to your survival. Your body requires a considerable amount of water and its best in its pure form without sugar or chemicals.

Yes. It is then ready for your body to use for its cells (in juice or soda, your body has to first get rid of the extra junk). Also, too much sugar is bad for you, and caffeine (which is found in many soft drinks) isn't good for you either.

And tap water is better than bottled water (if you live in a place that has drinkable tap water) because it hasn't been sitting still for a long time. Also, the laws for cleaning tap water are very strict and it is constantly being observed. More information: http://www.communitywater.com/core/conte...

ADDITION:

The reason people have to drink water is not because it is nutritious. Tap water does not contain minerals, it is simply more fresh than bottled water which is why it is better. Humans (and all other animals) need water to: transport nutrients (by diffusion), to act as a solvent, the thermal properties of water enable it to help maintain a constant temperature, allow for enzyme activity.... the list goes on. Water is very important.

i would say definitely yes, bottle water is better for us that juice or soda.

I didn't think tap water had any nutritional value. I know they add flouride to it but i don't think they add vitimans and minerals.

First, Commercials are designed to sell things. If they stretch the true or imply a half truth, oh well. hey sold the product.
The only 'stripped' water I know of is DISTILLED WATER. It has nothing in it but H2O...Bottled water for drinking, or 'Spring water' is nothing more than filtered water. The only nutrients in 'fresh water' is what ever is in the stream that the little furry creatures left. (dump)....plain old water doesn't have 'nutrients'...Minerals Yes...Then again, only DISTILLED does not have minerals.

I absolutely agree that there MUST be REAL differences in the land of the Maple tree....or was that just a leaf? Ah?
