Why does the Diet Pepsi I just got from the vending machine smell like poop?!?!
But when I smell the top of the bottle or just inside in the bottle, it smells like.. puss, boogers, and a dirty person's saliva all mixed it.

cuz the filthy animal that was puttin the sodas in the machine put the top in his mouth because his hands were full with sodas. he probably had bad breathe. i bet it smells like douche huh. man i feel for you dude.
EEWW ... not sure why, but i definitely would no drink that..lol
Did you buy a case, or just an individual bottle?
Try another one, and if it still smells like poop, keep trying them all. It might be a sh*tty batch. LOL
But seriously, if it smells that bad, I wouldn't continue drinking it.
This reminds me of a time I went fishing with a friend years ago. He put his two trout into a plastic bag. After we cooked and ate the fish, he later put several cans of beer into the same bag (unknowingly of course). We were camping, and for the rest of that evening each beer we drank smelled like raw fish, each and every sip. Horrid, but we still drank them!
