Question: What was up with that stuff? I remember it didn't taste all that bad, but everyone else hated it.
I hade a mate who loved the stuff. He used to get it for free because noone else would buy it.

Haha I actually remember it, and you're right, it really tasted pretty good. I didn't understand why other people didn't like it, but I can really relate to your friend, because I could get Pepsi Blue for free sometimes haha
I think people didn't like it because of it's fruity taste, since most people normally don't really associate Pepsi with something fruity. I also heard that the coloring, Blue-1 was regarded as bad for us back then, but research proves that it's safe for us.
Hope this helps :)

I just didn't like it. I think the only colored pop that differed from the original color was the reddish-orange special edition Mountain Dew.

Yes. I used to love Pepsi Blue. It sort of tasted like raspberries. I think Pepsi started making Pepsi Blue in 2002 and stopped producing it in 2004. I guess it became too expensive for Pepsi to keep making it. Colas and lemon-lime sodas seem to be most popular. You seldom ever find that many berry-flavored or fruit-flavored sodas in stores. I guess they are too expensive to make. There is a company in Seattle that makes fruit-flavored sodas, but a twelve-pack of their sodas costs about a dollar more than a twelve-pack made by Pepsi or Coke. The company is called Jones Soda.

That stuff tasted like chalk.

yeah it ws alright remember the pepsi with lime is that still on the market? my hubby loved both of those flavors
