Answers: The caffeine is addictive (in the same way as people crave coffee) but if its ordinary coke (not diet coke) then the massive amount of sugar is also addictive. It hugely increases your blood sugar levels when you drink it (it is easily absorbed), then soon after your blood sugar drops even lower than it was before, so your body craves more sugar.

in theory u can get addicted to coke or other caffiene containing.... but its different from drug addiction.....
coke like crack coke cause, um, yeah, you get addicted to that. coke like cocacola, then no you cant be addicted to the coke, but you can to the caffine. but in that case, you would be addicted to anything w/ caffine.
I'm completely addicted to diet coke. It's the taste I love. no other pop satisfies me like an ice cold diet coke!
Like every other caffeinated drink (excuse poor spelling), it is the caffeine that makes you addicted. Same with coffee. Caffeine is a drug. Sometimes, you can be so addicted to it, if you do drink it, you will feel faint because you are used to the 'high' it gives you.
Like POT and CRACK, it is addicting... though this doesn't have as many risks.

Yes, in a sense. It is the caffine you get addicted to. I am an addict, I admit, and don't care. I like a cold coke at lunch time. I don't always get it everyday, but I want it.
ik so do i i drink like 2 or more liters a day it keeps mr frim gaining weight and overeating, it is so possible to get addicted your gonna rot your teeth out of your mouth pop is a 2 on the acidity of ph thats horrible and the caffine makes coke so addicting

There is no cocaine in the soda though there once was but it was removed from the formula in the 1930s I believe.
