Are gold coffee filters better than disposable paper filters?!

Question: which do you prefer?

Answers: which do you prefer?

The original SWISS GOLD is one of the best filters on the market. It is better than paper because it allows the complete flavor of the coffee bean to be enjoyed. It allows the natural coffee oils to get into your cup which is the true flavor carrier of coffee. Paper absorbs these oils and you do not get these true flavors. Sort of like taking a shower in a rain suit.

Also in the long run the SWISS GOLD is cheaper than paper. All you have to do is rinse it out after a use and it is ready to go. You have to use a new paper filter for each batch of coffee you brew. After several uses it is best to clean the SWISS GOLD with SIMPLE GREEN to clean it completely and remove any old oils or tastes that Might Linger.

Also the cheap imitation wire filter that Wally-World sells is NOT as good as the SWISS GOLD. SWISS GOLD is plated with real gold and prevents interaction of the coffee acids with the metals as do the wire fakes.

I prefer the gold filter and it's less waste.

One major advantage of a gold coffee filter is longevity and the gold plate ensures there is zero chemical interaction between the filter and the hot water and coffee grinds.

I have a gold filter in my Cuisinart pot, but I still put paper filters in it. It's easier to just throw them away and rinse out the gold filter, than to have to scrub the gold filter....

Where can one find the Swiss Gold filters in Singapore?
