Who else has noticed that Master Blend, (made by Maxwell House), coffee is awful now???!

Question: We have only bought this kind of coffee for years, but it has drastically changed lately. My daughter in Texas told us a couple of months ago, and now the awful brew has made it to our shelves up in the north.

I thought it was just me. It really has an awful taste to it but it's weak at the same time.
My husband like Maxwell house because that's what he has always drank. I bought Folgers this time and it's amazing the difference in taste.

They switched from robusta beans to 100% Arabica.

Arabica is much better as it is grown from a higher altitude. The higher the beans, the better the quality. Plus, they are roasted longer. You probably are not used to such a drastic change, and it probably surprised your palate if you had been drinking the previous roast for years.

I still hate Maxwell House though. Canned coffee=yuck.
