What's with the new Coca Cola bottle cap?!
Has anyone seen this new cap? Is it a national roll-out, regional? Or am I in a test area?
Answers: So I've noticed in the past month or two they seem to have suddenly phased in a new bottle cap on Coca Cola products. It's smaller and lighter, with wider grooves -- my only thought is that it's a response to the Poland Springs 'eco-friendly bottle' thing. Perhaps they're trying to show they use less plastic too.

The new caps sucks. Its no where near as easy to screw it back on.
I've noticed it too...maybe they're just being eco-friendly,or they're just trying to save money.
It takes fewer turns to get the top off. So you get to drink it sooner.
Since plastic is a petroleum product, and gas is at an all time high, my guess is that they are trying to save money. If they wanted to be "eco-friendly" they'd go back to using glass bottles.
I've noticed the new cap. Kinda weird at first. I live in New Jersey.
