Why do caffeine-free beverages taste different than their regular counterparts?!


Question: Caffeine has a slightly bitter taste on it's own, so when it's omitted from a beverage, the result is a drink that tastes a little sweeter.

i think it taste the same

that's simple.........,caffeine- free beverages are free of caffeine
and no matter how they try, they can't get their subsitudes to taste the same.

I suppose caffeine adds something to it.....maybe it wakes up your mouth!
