Caffeine Addiction?!
I've been a heavy caffeine drinker (not soda mind you, Red Bulls and coffee) for about ten years now (I'm 17).
The caffeine itself doesn't so much affect me as the addiction does.
I didn't have an caffeine yesterday and I got very ill. I have been ill all morning today until I bought a Rockstar and drank it... Now I feel fine exccept I feel like I may be running a slight fever.
Sometimes after I drink a large dose of caffeine, my ears begin to pop. None of my friends can relate to this.
For the last few months I've been experiencing chest pains.
Should this be a cause for concern, or is just your run-of-the-mill caffeine addiction?
(and for everyone who wants to tell me how bad caffeine is for you, I'm well aware of this fact, and I'm also aware of about 40% of the people to exoress this are addicted to caffeine themselves)
But yeah... any input?
Answers: I have one of those "Energy Drinks" once a day (at least).

Those are all typical caffeine addiction side-affects. Everyone handles addictions a little bit differently, but I would say that there is nothing unusual about your addicton. If I were you I would drink not so much energy drinks and more coffee to make up some of that caffeine. Coffee is alot better for you then energy drinks.
lol this happened to me i have been drinking coffee every day for about a 3 weeks and i was not feeling and had some coffee and it made me a heck of lot better feeling than i was before.
I hope you are really taking this serious! popping ears, chest pain,,,, this possibly could lead to a stroke. I would really check with my doctor/ cardiologist. And immediately!
