Does regular ground coffee go bad in the freezer?!

Question: When I moved to my apartment in July, I had bought a pound of regular ground coffee in one of those vacuum sealed bricks. I did open it, and used a small amount when company came. Then I rolled the package tightly closed, and put it into a zip-lock bag after squeezing all the air out of it. It's been in the back of my freezer since then. I'm having coffee drinking company this weekend, should this coffee be ok? Or, do you think it will taste stale.

It will be fine.
Actually, coffee is supposed to be stored at room temperature for maximum taste... but if you rarely use it, the freezer is probably the best place, to prevent spoilage.

Freezing coffee will not extend its life.
The only trick for fresh coffee is storing it in an airtight container.
Better yet, buy a coffee grinder and only grind one day's worth of coffee at a time!
