Is bottled water all a con? Evian IS naive spelt backwards after all! ;-) ha ha?!

Question: And spelled forward it's a region in France...

Answers: And spelled forward it's a region in France...

Hahah

If it isn't labeled as "Natural Spring Water" it's all from the tap. I use to work for a major Pepsi bottler and we used the same treated tap water (it's conditioned to remove mineral salts, chlorine, etc.) for bottled water as we used to make soft drinks. It's all a con. You get the same thing using Culligan conditioned water or a home reverse osmosis system.

in the chicago area, a lot of the bottled water is taken from lake michigan. in reality its just tap water

to answer your question, it's one of the biggest hoaxes in this country. not only is most bottled water (99.9% ) tap water , it is not regulated or controlled as much as regular drinking water, all water will eventually get bacteria in it. it is simply easier to carry around, bottled water is not better for you.
