I love my soda club, but....?!

Question: I love my soda club machine, and I'm saving scads of money by making seltzer at home, but does anyone know if all of their syrups are as heinous as the samples they sent when I bought the thing? I'd love to make soda for my non-seltzer liking housemates, but, eww....ick.

I lke using this stuff in my own sodas and tea. I recomend the Black Cherry and Blackberry. The strawberry is also very good.
