Which makes a better cup of coffee, Tim Hortons or Starbucks?!

Question: I'm in a heated argument with my friend, who thinks that the double-roasted coffee beans that make an overpriced, burnt-tasting and well OVERRATED cup of coffee, that takes 5 minutes to make is somehow better than a cheap but awesome cup of Tim Hortons coffee.

He says Tim Hortons coffee tastes like hot water with a hint of coffee flavor to suggest some coffee may have been in the pot at one time.

Who's right?

You are!! Starbucks is the WORST Most BItter coffee ever made, sold or produced.

Take a look at the way Tim Hortons has exploded in the last few years. I live in a fairly small town in Alberta Canada...
we have 2 walmarts, and about 6 TIM HORTONS!! Every single Tim Hortons is PACKED!! Continuously. The Starbucks?? A few people who think they are totally cool go there to drink crappy coffee.

The first time I ever went to a Starbucks and heard some loser ask for a tall double mocha bullshit nonsence coffee, thinking they were so cool while they were ordering it, I never went back.

ALSO, I saw a bin of burnt, terrible looking coffee, with a sign saying THIS is why starbucks coffe tastes the way it does...

I said AHA...THAT's why it tastes like crap.

I do like the Second CUP...but we don't seem to have a location conviently located.

Like I said, Starbucks is all about image. Also, I have NEVER seen a lineup at Starbucks in my town. Report It

  • tim hortons..all the wayy.
that **** is bomb as hell.

    Starbucks, most def.

    Tim Horton's...definitely!

Both of you are wrong, it doesn't take a man with six fingers to realize folgers makes the best cup of coffee at my house.

I hate starbucks, for me the taste is to dark, but it's matter of taste, so there is no argument here!

Between the two, I have to say Starbucks. But my absolute favorite is Dunkin Donuts coffee. I like my coffee strong. Tim Hortons isn't strong enough for me.

Well i tasted starbucks coffee before and it was pretty good but i never tasted Tim Hortons, but i do agree that STARBucKs are pricy and takes awhile!

You're right. I love Tim Horton's. I love COFFEE FLAVOURED COFFEE!

Not some Spanish/french/English form of asking for a coffee.

Buying coffee shouldn't be a recreational status thing, it's a medical need for caffeine

    I prefer Timmy's, myself.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Starbucks, but.......There regular coffee taste like a stale cigarette butt!!!

I am a sucker for there specialty coffees like the lattes!!!

neither, although tim hortons is close. costa wins my heart <3
