Why do we drink cow's milk instead of human breast milk?!
Answers: Wouldn't it make more sense to go to the store and pick up a quart of "people" milk?
I think it would be pretty hard for women to keep up with production. You figure lactating is one of those "for a limited time only" deals. So dairy farmers would have to "herd" huge amounts of lactating women, hook them up to the suction device and start pumping. Then you have to figure after a while, these women would need to be replaced with other women. All in all it is one heck of a process to pull this off.
Then there would be facility changes the farmer would need to make. Cows don't care, women do. You would have to keep your milk sucking facility clean, smelling fresh, and pleasantly decorated. Maybe have some movies and magazines. Refreshments to make the experience nicer.
Now what would be in the milk? You can't hold these women captive and feed them corn and grass all day. Their diets wouldn't be regulated. they would all have different milk quality and I don't think that would fly with the department of agriculture.
cows milk is higher in calcium and other vitamins, and breast milk just doesnt seem right to some, thanks.
Eww...if you really believe that you might need some help. I have never liked any milk though so eww to all of it. I will just take some calcium supplements and eat my veggies.
A woman normally only produces enough milk for a baby as a rule. Some women produce a little too much, but not enough to make it commercially viable.
there are places that do that for the sick.
For one thing I understand breast milk doesn't taste so good. For another, think of a dairy farm. Now imagine a bunch of women sitting around constantly lactating and pumping. I don't know any women who would want to do that. And realize as well that the only reason cows are always lactating is because they constantly pregnant or nursing. Not saying it's right for the cows either, but you're not going to get humans to do that.

I think your right I think people milk might taste gross but cows milk isnt great either. but if you think about it babies drink human milk then go to cows milk calves drink cows milk and thats it. I think cows milk should be for calves!!
Because I don't get my face slapped when I drink cow's milk straight from the container.
