Is "city water" REALLY safe to drink from the tap?!
Some places in the USA and Canada have tap water that tastes as good as bottled.,(Great lakes states) Conversely, if you were to do particle count analysis on bottled water, you would find it much less pure than you thought.
The short answer to your question then, is Yes, if in USA, Canada and most of Europe.
Answers: In most industrialized countries it is safe to drink tap water. Whether it's taste is to your liking is another matter. Developing and third world countries have municipal water supplies that are suitable for bathing and washing clothes , but is not meant for drinking.

I think so. I was raised in Washington, DC on "City Water" and so far l've lived 40 years. So, as I said, " I Think City Water is Safe to Drink:"

Generally yes. Most cities do filter and purify the water they pump thru the pipes to houses.
There are times wihen it isn't. Like if a flood happens.

man people don't get it! sure people can and will survive on something man made , but think of this, if a person could live on natural chemical free organic food and water, and another person lived only on city water and food that we buy at the supermarkets that has been sprayed with more chemicals then we can name , who do you think would live a longer healthier life? if money was no issue would you drink it or would you buy bottled water ? i sure would buy all my water in bottles .

Good question now that we're hearing there's drugs in the city water that aren't filtered out.
I never thought it was really SAFE to drink, but am also finding out that bottled water may be no different.
Still checking on the facts, but not liking what I have found so far.
NO- We've had LOTS of water bans lately- and with all the meth labs around here, I could guess why. Pathetic!
well, here where i live ther eare sex hormones, so i try to drink more than i need. hahahahahahahahahahaha Bring the pennies
I don't think so...specialy when (in most big cities) EVERY glass of water - you have drank the same water Oprox...7 to 8 times before.
