Answers: Just wondering..im eating some chocolate right now, and after having one bite i just cant put it down!

It's a combination of many things. Sugar is one of the main ingredients in Chocolate. Cocoa in its raw form is VERY bitter, so lots of sugar is needed to neutralise, and then sweeten the cocoa. Sugar itself is addictive, which is why children like sweets. Chocolate does contain caffeine, but the amount is so small that you would need to consume a LOT of chocolate in order to get a hit. Before that occured though, you would most probably be very ill!

So sugar is the most addictive ingredient in chocolate.

Caffeine maybe?
