Here's a website I found that seems pretty good.

hi there. 12 months ago i used to drink 2 litres of coke a day and 2 coffees as well, because of my state of health i did give it up, like all addictions its hard but its not impossible, and as time goes by it gets easier , 12 months down the track i still have the craving but i choose not to drink any more, the way that i did it was to drink black tea, and because i don't really like tea it was easy to stop that as well, good luck stay strong

Not sure why you are giving up coffee. There are numerous studies that have shown moderate coffee drinking to be healthy for you. If you are determined to give it up cold turkey though, you will have "withdrawal" headaches for a while and there isn't a whole lot you can do besides substitute with something with less caffeine in it. Try green tea or regular black tea which has slightly less caffeine in it but might relieve your headaches. A cup or two of coffee per day though isn't going to hurt you unless you have medical problems that require you to have absolutely no caffeine. Flush your body with plenty of water while your body gets acclimated to the new conditions.

You should cut down on the caffeine gradually, otherwise it will cause dizziness and headaches try mixing half a teaspoon of ordinary coffee with half teaspoon de-caff and then gradually build up to drinking just de-caff. This is what my doctor recommended I do when I had to stop drinking so much caffeine. Took about a month to go to just de-caff and now I don't drink anything else.

Hope this helps and have a great day ;-)

Are you giving up caffeine overall? If not just substitute it with coke or mello yello - that will stop the headaches - otherwise take tylenol - there's some acetaminophines out there that have caffeine in them. Otherwise you'll have to go cold turkey.

The headaches should pass soon. Believe it or not getting off of caffeine is like dealing with any other 'addiction'. After a few more days you should adjust. You may still crave coffee but you should not feel any physical discomfort

Have you tired black teas? Or chai tea? They're good for you and still have a little caffeine.
