I need to drink more water!!?!


Question: I drink plenty of milk, and a lot of tea, but I dont drink enough water apparently. I just dont like it! I bought a bottle the other day and forced myself to drink all of it but it wasnt easy. My mom says to put lemon slices in it, but that doesnt work, it still tastes like nasty deluted lemon and watery water. any suggestions on how to drink more water?

Go for flavored water which has 0 calories, but stay away from sports drinks, like vitamin water. Theres even an attachment which filters and adds which ever flavor you choose to your water. Here are a few flavored waters with little or no calories.

or put crushed ice in it and chew on the ice.

The only way I tolerate water is with LOTS of ice. Maybe that will help you as well. Good luck!

I use some crystal light packages. It taste like kool-aid and doesn't have any sugar or calories.

get some flavoured water
u can get them from any supermarket

Add Crystal Light mix to it!

or, Like everyone else said drink flavored water.

put some sweetner in it like minute made powder tand or gator ade. eventually ull get enough. If u dont want the sugar just drink water and something else at a meal time then it's not so bad

eat more watermelon

u just drink it!!!! water is good for u but if u dont like it u kan still put like those fruity things in it. it mite taste better!!!?

try to see all the kids that die everyday because of not getting enough water.

drink spring water. not sure what you were drinking.

try propel flavored water its good!

Drink"Smart water"you can right away feel the difference.
I don't like the taste of any other water besides Smart water..

Have you tried the flavored vitamin waters, or Propel? They're pretty good, and you can get versions that are very low in calories (like 10 for the whole bottle). Or you could try the fizzy stuff-- the bubbles might make it more interesting.

I have the same problem. But I force myself. Also, this might sound weird but try carbonated water like perrier. It is less boring than water. I try it and it makes me thirsty for regular water when I drink enough of it.

Well tea does have water i dont understand how you dont drink enough water if you drink a lot of tea but neverthless try flavored water

i had the same problem, being active only makes it worse, too. coolaide, flavored water, and a lot of fruits that contain large amounts of water like watermelon or tomatoes.

Try to drink at night before bed, like taking a vitamin. Just do it.

I hated water too, and this is what I did.

I found a flavor of Vitamin Water that I liked. Then, I began putting 3/4 Vitamin Water and 1/4 Water. Then, 1/2 Vitamin Water 1/2 Water...As I began diluting the Vitamin Water with water - I became more used to the taste of regular Water.

Now, I drink Water all the time - it's my favorite drink.

**Don't begin drinking Vitamin water as a permanent solution to water. Vitamin Water is packed with calories and sugar. It's only good every once in a while - and good for getting used to water.

If you go to the water section in any Wal Mart or any grocery store, they will have a wide variety of water with different flavors. The other day at lunch, I drank a new strawberry Dasani flavor and I loved it. I get bored with plain water too. So, I try out all different kinds. Keep trying different kinds till you find one you like! Good Luck!

try adding a little honey along with the lemon it really improves the flavor a dash of cinnamon also helps

1st of all, maybe its the water you are drinking. I drink smart water. I see a difference in the taste and overall feel as opposed to tap water.

Drink flavored water. I have the same problem. It worked for me. or buy flavored water packets and poor them in and shake it up!

Actually, the whole drink "X" glasses of water is a bit overblown. There's a recent article in Discover, a science magazine talks all about it. Basically, just drink a lot of fluids with water in it, and you should be fine: milk, fruit juices, flavored waters, anything like that. Even kool-aid.

Just try to stay away from diuretics, drinks that make you lose water like coffee, tea, and alcohol.

put ice and place it in nice containers .and bring water everywhere you go to remind you to drink water

Drink flavored waters instead of tea.

Vitamin Water? Not sure about the water and nutritional info on it though. How about selzer water which is carbonated with flavors.
