What are some good ways to quit drinking soda?!

Question: I've done it in the past without drinking it for like 3 months or so and it is TOUGH. I drink probably around a 2 liter a day.

Try flavored water, first(the kind that fizzes up like soda), and after you get used to that, try Vitamin Water, then try Propel, and so on, until you can drink plain water(it's by far the best for you).

I dunno....just use a little will-power.

its not hard just do it!.....the shits nasty anyway

drink water until u feel bloated... drown urself in it! lol!

I can empathize with you b/c i was addicted to dr. pepper and have drank it all my life....As for 2 ltrs a day that is a bit much....but think of the long-term affects of the soda, one beleive it or not it can contribute to cancer, eat away at the enamel on your teeth til their practically see thru....water is really great, sqeeze lemon in it, or those juice packets....cranberry juice is good as well........for now im sticking with water...its a LOT of sugar in soda

2 liters?!good god
just replace it with something you like besides soda. no alc.
maybe milkshakes, smoothies, but best of all WATERRRRRRRRR

stop buying it. or heres another way. if ur the type that drinks alot of different kinds then only start to drink one. i kno ur still drinking but its a way to calm down...btw i prefer sprite

I buy a lot of bottled water and Crystal Lite.

My husband actually waters his down (yuk). Maybe you could try this, or say, if you want to pour yourself 8 oz., pour 6 and when you're finished drink 2 oz. of water. Keep reducing the soda and increasing the water until you aren't drinking soda anymore. I stopped cold turkey a long time ago (not difficult with 4 jobs, school and physical therapy!) and found that the longer I went without it, the less I wanted it. Do you really need to stop drinking it altogether?
