Why do so many people like Starbucks?!
Answers: Personally I don't like Starbucks coffees cos its coffees don't have coffee taste but only way too bitter....That's why I have no idea why so many people like to drink its coffees. I think it's not worth the price. If I want a cup of coffee, I rather go to a gourmet coffee shop which coffees smell can spread out everywhere. If you guys and gals have opportunity to visit Thailand or go to Thai restaurant, just order their Thai coffees...it tastes good too.
Definitely the "cool factor" and brand loyalty. Starbucks sells more than lattes or coffee, it sells acceptance and hip atmosphere. Their cups and logos have become a stamp that tells others that they share a common bond, as weird as it sounds. Think about what goes through your head when you see someone carrying a bag from your favorite store, or listening to your favorite artist.

A huge draw of Starbucks is the atmosphere they create, with the tables and chess boards and wireless internet and just the classy, "in" feel you have when you go there. It's the same reason people buy name-brand clothing that isn't any better than other clothes. Just because it's cool.
Yeah, Starbucks is alright. It's all hyped up. I'd rather go to little cafes and holes in the wall that have really good coffee or drink then ordering a dumbass tall or grande overpriced drink from Starbucks.

I like their hot chocolate (I don't drink coffee). However, I know a recipe for hot chocolate that tastes almost identical to theirs, so I don't go there very often.

I totally agree,starbucks dont have no taste,price-wise they are the same as any decent cup of coffee,as Ive spent a lot of time in Italy,where they really know how to make coffee,capacino etc.I was very disappointed in Starbucks. But Costa's has got it spot on,I must add.
Starbucks coffee is really sweet and therefore popular with a younger generation where "regular" coffee is too bitter for them. I, personally, like the pumpkin stuff, but only as a treat (it is WAAY too expensive)

I agree with you about the burnt bitter taste. Now this is kind of weird. I have disliked their coffee for years. It gives me a headache. I can have an Americano (which is made from espresso) but a regular cup of coffee always tasted bad to me, no matter what variety. Maybe too few people order it?
But for Christmas, I got a Tassimo machine. After trying lots of flavors, you know which varieties I absolutely love? The Starbucks ones. I guess when the coffee is fresh it's actually pretty good. I like a strong cup of coffee - my favorite coffee every is Peet's coffee. But I have to admit the convenience of the Tassimo has made me totally addicted to Starbucks in this one particular form.
I don't like starbucks either. I love coffee but starbucks -IN MY OPINION- is gross.
You get used to the burnt taste after a while. lol It's good. I don't care what anybody says. Well, the Coffee Bean is better but that's besides the point.
People go to Starbuck's because it's so convenient! There's one every couple blocks, and you can just drive through! Nearly everyone also agrees that smaller coffee shops are usually better, but they aren't as convenient..... I have Thai coffee whenever I have Thai food, but I find that it's way too sweet. It's a nice drink, but not really like coffee at all. Now...Italian coffee is REALLY great coffee!!
Cuz its gd!! If you thnk it tastes to bitter u can ask them to add milk or whatever. But I love Starbucks
