Energy drink expiration date?!
I need a somewhat-definite answer not something like, "Well, I left mine in the fridge for a month and when I opened it, it still tasted fine."
Answers: I was wondering how long a Rockstar energy drink will be good for if left unopened. I looked on the box of them that I bought and it didn't have any dates on it.

Rockstar doesn't have an expiration date printed on the can. However, the shelf life is about 9 months for the regular varieties and about 4 months for the diet ones. Of course, going beyond that by a month or two won't hurt.
Question is, when was it produced? You really don't know how long it was sitting on the shelf in the store before you bought it. On the bottom of the can is a production code. If you post it in it's entirety including spaces, etc, I can edit my post and tell you exactly when it was made and how long it's still good.
check the bottom of one of the cans date is usually underneath the can and not on the box.
why would we know, if you're so bothered about it & won't test it to try it
just go out and buy a fresh one :|!
Generally carbonated drinks are "good" for up to 6 months after purchase.
